Major: Electrical Engineering, with a minor in dance. 
Major Explanation: Moose likes to dance. The macaw is a very agile bird, which helps him to be more agile at dancing. Birds are always attracted to shiny things, so with Moose working on the lights of engineering, he can stay more easily focused. Apart from that, Moose just likes messing with lights. He feels that he can create effects that can turn out to be amazing with just a little tinkering. And dancing. Well dancing makes him feel free, it gives him hope, and it's just plain fun.

Overall: 
Moose's personality is sorts of random. But it isn't in a bad way. He is a really sweet guy. His best friend was a girl so he would always stick up for her. Their parents would say they would end up getting married because they were so close. That shows that once he got friends he would do anything for them. His attitude is a happy-go lucky. The only time he really gets serious is hen he is in school, though of course, he will try to strike up a conversation with a couple classmates. The only time he gets angry is when he sees others being mean to other people, or when he loses a dance off. When he is in a dance off, he can be a mixture of serious and wanting to have fun. He is the type of guy that loves to laugh, even going as far as to make himself laugh.  

When Moose does get angry, he doesn't really think. His macaw instincts start to come out. The bird is a bit of a fighter. With that being known, it can be assumed that Moose is also a fighter. When he fights he is all fists out. But, if you don't want to fight that way, then he will fight you through a dance off.  Moose is very unique in that way. He would rather have a dance-off than fight. The good thing about this teenager is that once ge is ableto talk to the person he was fighting with, he seems happier. This is usually only the case if they do apologize. He will apologize if it was his fault. 

Moose can be really random at times. If he is tired his brain will revert to saying things that don't really add up to his previous comment. You can be sure that he will ask completely random questions. If he is super tired, like to the point where his eyelids are closing very slowly, you can assume that he would be so placidly calm. This is actually true. When he is hyper, you can see him doing a bung of crazy dance moves. Many of which involve tables and balloons. Nothing bad comes out of this, except if you count balloons getting popped by him landing on them when he does flips, or if sliding across a table or jumping over one is bad.

Appearance:
Moose has a very simple appearance. Standing at 5'9" and weighing around 150, he is slender but has the average arm muscles and has a starting of a four pack. His shirts are usually loose. They can come in many different styles, but he is most commonly seen with a red and black plaid shirt. His jeans can vary from a light gray to a dark blue. He isn't into the super skinny jeans, but jeans that seem to fit a little loose. His eyes are a dark brown. His hair can be dark brown or black, depending on the light, but it can be certain that it is always curly. His shoes are a little more unique. One of his more famous pair of shoes are the ones he decorated with LED lights, he only wears these at night when he is dancing, or when a club is dark. There is a pair of shoes that he keeps only for dancing, The Limited Edition Gunmetal Nike Dunks.. Apart from those shoes, he will also wear regular old Vans or DCs.

Ara ararauna. The Blue and Gold Macaw. This bird is widely known as a house bird that can cost as much as $2000. Fortunately Moose's family never had a problem with money. With little thought, Moose can transform into the 35 inch 4 pound bird. His beak is pitch black and curved. Of course the tip is very sharp and the beak is strong enough to break open most nuts. His eyes turn black. Around his eyes is a patch of white skin that has 10 lines of very small black feathers that run from the nostril to around his eye. Underneath the beak and white skin is a patch of black feathers that starts at the side of his face and goes to the other side. Yellow feathers start a little before the and go totally underneath the bottom of him, to the tip of the end of the long tail feathers. The top of his forehead is a light green. After that, his feathers turn a tealish-light blue color, that darkens to a dark blue an the end of his wings and end of his tail. His two feet are a dark gray color with black talons.

History:
Moose was born into a wonderful family on June 29. Both of his parents had the gene for shifting, and they had been together since they were kids. His dad could transform into a Scarlet Macaw, and his mom could transform into a African Gray Parrot. They think this is the main reason why Moose also changed into a Macaw. They always hoped for this so that birds would stay in their family. Their personalities seemed to seep into him. The only thing that really would differ between his parents and his own personality is that he is more carefree. But, his parents say that they were slightly less strict than they are now. 

When Moose first started school, people could tell he was different. He was always wanting to listen to music, and even as a baby he would always dance. Of course there was the exception of his name. Cody was a good name, but his family would watch as their little son would start choosing the moose stuffed animals. When he first learned the word, his family would call him and he wouldn't come. When they would go to find him, he would be sitting in his room acting innocent. At this time he was 3 and didn't really know how to talk. His parents would ask why he didn't come and in a little voice he would say that his name was Moose. 

His mom and dad continued to call him Moose since that was the only thing that he came to. The name stuck with him and he didn't mind it. He actually started to like that name once he found out how many people were named Cody. When he did get older, he wouldn't be into stuffed animals at all. He would always tell people to call him Moose and not Cody and no one really minded. Of course, they would look at him funny when he first introduced himself but he didn't mind. 

6th grade was when he met his best friend. Emily was the party to his life. They would both act funny an dance together. The first time they actually met he was doing the robot at one of their friends birthdays party. Emily and he had never been known each other before but she was really impressed by his freestyle dancing and his name. 

After that day they basically became stuck on each other. They would always talk, dance, and hang with each other. They became inseparable. Their parents even thought that they would get married. That would never happened but still it was just a thought. They always told each other their secrets, and never to anyone else. 

When he turned 13, his life changed dramatically. That fateful day, was his birthday and birthday party. He invited some of his close friends and of course Emily. When everyone went home, he and his parents started to argue. It was something about how he wasn't talking to anyone but Emily. He go frustrated and ran outside. A few minutes later, he felt a tearing pain. His emotions were on the brink of making him cry, and this pain was adding to that feeling with each passing second. 

He could feel his eyes starting to water, closely followed by cries coming from his mouth  he fell to the ground  clenching at his stomach. He curled into a little ball as his eyes started to let the tears fall. The pain only got worse with each second that passed. After a few minutes he could feel himself falling asleep. His body aching from pain and the crying. When he open his eyes, everything seemed bigger than him. He tried to say something but it came out in a squawk. Frightened out of his mind, he turned and tried running home, only to find two bird legs. He turned his head to the side and noticed he had wings. When he had looked at the wings, he felt as if someone was watching him. But, not hearing a sound he ignored it. 

Hesitantly he opened them. When they were opened he tried to flap them a couple times to no avail. He let his head hang and was amazed to feel a bird like presence fluttering in the back of his mind. When e tried to react with it, he felt it take over the body. This time, when the wings opened and flapped, he was lifted into the sky. After hours of the bird flying aimlessly around, Moose tried to talk to it again. This time it seemed to listen. When it started to turn around Moose could feel himself smiling.  He flew home wondering if his parents knew this would happen to him or if they could even turn into an animal also. Getting there he had the bird peek in one of the windows to see his parents talking. His mom looked sad and his dad was trying to comfort her. 

Moose quickly made the bird tap on the window and saw his parents turned towards him. He was happy to see that they looked as if they knew it was him. Both of their faces showed joy to see that their son was home. They let him in and explained that he had to totally relax before he could change back. He tried really hard before he was able to relax enough. Once he was back to normal, his mom an dad explained that there were a ton of people who could do this. Almost all of their families could, not to mention they could. When Moose asked if he could tell Emily, his parents had looked at each other unsure of the consequences. Finally they said that it was okay. 

That weekend Moose invited Emily over, he had said that he had something he really wanted to show her. After a couple seconds, he sat on Emily's shoulder as a bird. Emily was shocked at first but that grew to amazement as she realized how cool it was that her friend could turn into a bird. 

The next two years passed by with Moose turning into a bird to pull not harmful pranks against their classmates with Emily. They became ever more closer as they reached 10th grade, something bad happened. Moose was out flying as a bird, when he was caught.

Not just by anyone. But by a animal control officer. He tried to fly away but couldn't. As he was taken to a pet store, he wondered if his parents would know where to look. Little did he know, they had been in his same position before. Later the next day, he saw his parents walk in the store. When they walked right to him, he tried to show that it was him. Luckily they knew it was him and told the store it was their pet bird that had escaped last night. 

When Moose went home with them, he turned back into a human on the way home. They told him that he needed to take stuff more seriously and that he needed to get responsible. They told him they were sending him to a school where he could get in better control of his ability. So, with a suitcase full of clothes they took him to the docks where he could take the boat to the island.

Moose changes into the Blue and Gold Macaw for many reasons. Endurance is one reason. Because the macaw can fly for a long time, Moose can dance for a long time. The colors blue and gold have always been his favorite so that may play a part in it too. Since birds are so agile, Moose is more agile when he is dancing. Birds are also attracted to shiny lights. So when Moose is tweaking and messing with lights he is totally focused. The Macaw also has a short temper. If you do the wrong thing to it, or mess with it in anyway, it can become angry. That is like Moose. He has a short fuse in some situations. If you egg him on, he just might get mad enough to cause you bodily harm. Macaw have very good bonding instincts. Moose is very close to his family, and to his friends, which can be shown by how long he has been friends with Emily. The majestic birds can also get territorial, that is the same as Moose with his own items. If someone he doesn't know gets close to his stuff, he will start trying to get them away, if they are hurting his friends he will get them to back off.
