I've been looking...


SO this is Minali Clare Aeron but that's a whole mouth full isn't it? You can just call her Min or 'Nali. She's sixteen years old, and she's a junior at the Academy. Before she goes out in this big, bad world, she needs a few things...

SO tons of these. Minali is a bright ball of freakin' sunshine and loves to make the people around her smile and laugh. She hates cruelty and loves the environment and even more importantly to swim. She's an otter shift and that playful, mischievous side comes out like nobody's business in Minali. She's never had a close friend though and the time has come for that I think. I foresee her with maybe one or two close, close friends and then a whole ring of others, not quite as close.

NOT to speak ill of my own characters, but Min can get a little...grating. The constant enthusiasm and moving and optimism... She's definitely not everyone's cup of tea. Not to mention, she's devoted strongly to the cause of environmentalism so anyone opposed to, if not activism then, strong opinions on such a hot-button topic could definitely take issue with her.

THERE has never been a relationship in Minali's life. She sort of kept people at arm's-length before coming to the Academy and that led to no boyfriends. There were crushes, of course, but she never truly acted on them. She felt she couldn't actually relate to anyone if they couldn't know about her shifting. Min's probably ready to go out and have a few crushes, a few misses and, hopefully, a few hits along the way as well.
