VALAN, MEET YOUR MAKER
Overall, Valan is the die-hard family first sort of guy. Only, he doesn’t like children. So really it only encompasses his siblings and other close relatives. Should one of them ever wind up in trouble, no doubt he’d be the first on the scene duking it out with whoever’s bothering his loved one, throwing elbows left and right without asking a single question. He can be irrational like that sometimes. But that just goes to show the lengths he’d be willing to go through to protect those he appreciates. No doubt Valan has a few fights listed on his record, the majority of them probably not even started by him. None the less, the Hazard boy also does have a tender, sweet-talking side to him as well. If he wants something, it’s not beneath him to try and manipulate someone into giving him what he wants, be it information or otherwise. Some could even say Valan is a bit of a charmer and a flirt when he puts his boxing gloves away, but does he mean it? Honestly no. Valan could be flirting it up with you one minute, then leave you in the dust and forget you ever existed within the same hour. It’s not to be taken personally, of course. This generally only happens with those he’s not close with, since he obviously cares about his friends and family too much.
Not to mention, he has a bit of a hyper streak in him sometimes when he doesn’t release enough energy. His brothers swear up and down that the kid has some sort of ADHD or something floating through his DNA, though he’ll deny it up and down no doubt. As is custom to the wolf nature, Valan can be quite sociable when he’s around enough people that he knows. Or somewhere in particular that he’s comfortable with. He has no problem making new friends, despite his defensive attitude, and actually prefers being around a posse of people he knows. Don’t get it twisted, though – his family is the pack he’s loyal to the most, since he’s so close to them. Depending on who’s eyes you’re looking through when looking at him, some call him a jock. Others a heart breaker. And the majority? An overall alright kind of guy who definitely has a secret to hide. No one knows about his drinking problems, and he won’t jump at the opportunity to tell anyone either.
