Moose walked out of his dorm. The people in his room seemed okay, but he walked to get a view of the campus by himself. As he fished the map out of his pocket, he exited the dormitories. Once out of there, his eyes looked from the map to the area in front of him. There were a ton of buildings here, and he et that he could get lost very easily if not for the map. Wanting to see if he could find himself around the campus, he put the map back in his pocket. "Now where is it?" He mumbled to himself as he searched his pockets for his iPod. When he found his phone he sighed. He checked the last pocket, and with a smile fished it out of his pocket.
Moose put in the headphones and turned the music up. He loved the song that was playing; it was the perfect song to play when you were in the mood or dancing. He started sliding backwards and moving his arms and shoulders. With a quick shake of his head, he stopped. He couldn't dance here. That wasn't why he was here. He was here for Electrical Engineering. Maybe not even that. Maybe it was because of his shift. He started walking, once again, down the pavement. On one side of him was a grass park. On the other side were buildings. Right now, his eyes were on the buildings.
His eyes wandered from one building to the grass park when he heard laughing. He stopped and looked around at all the people. Some were dancing, some were talking, and some were sitting by themselves. When he saw the people dancing, he couldn't help but start walking over there. His hand turned his iPod off and put away when he got right outside the group. He managed to squeeze in-between people until he was able to stand in the middle and watch the others dance. When one of the guys pointed at him and told him to come and show-off, he shook his head.
But when people started pushing him in he nodded. He let the music fill his ears as he started moving around. His feet moved in rhythm to the beat along with the rest of his body. The crowd opened up, giving him more room. He took it and started to venture out of the circle. He used tables and benches to slid across or dance on top of. He was just about done, when he saw teachers coming with stern looks on their faces. With a shocked expression, he took off running. His feet flew under him as he tried to keep the distance between himself and the teachers going.
Once he thought he was far enough away, he turned an looked back. Seeing the teachers talking to the other students he started to slow his pace. He smiled when he turned back. When his eyes flew open, he tried to stop. In front of him was a girl. He crashed into her. He didn't think that it was enough force to knock her down but still. He started stuttering.
Moose stood there showing full sympathy for crashing into this complete stranger. "I'm so sorry...Are you hurt? I really didn't mean too...there was dancing and teachers started to come. I had to get away. I am really sorry." He backed up a little hoping that she wasn't something that could kill him.
